Nah, her mom actually means it, which is good. I know because of what they do before I come over. Apparently they had a hardcore cleaning session because her mom was excited that I am coming up today. She also asks Diane when the next time I am coming back is and invites me to all of the holidays (Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.). She was the same way with my gfs sisters husband when they were dating. She is very accommodating as is my gfs dad.
As far as I know, pretty much all of my gfs moms loved me, though one didn't like it when people came over to their house, like cosy said. So I wasn't over at her house much except when they needed help or if I drove my ex back.
Welp, leaving in a little bit to get my haircut then head to the gfs. 3 hours on the road oh boy oh boy! But I have cupholders now which means I can have drinks in the car. So I'm definitely bringing a drink with me to keep me awake lol (Soda, not beer)

I just love how men all think that their ladies moms all love them----wouldnt you like to be the fly on the wall in the ladies bathroom!!!! I am sure pwnd and azzer you actually ARE just as lovable as you say----- (my mom liked all mine too, but was very happy when I ditched one that she had met.....)
3 hours where are you going pwnd???? Milwaukee? and yeah--no beer in the car unless you want some of illinois' not so finest to want a little talk and such.
I like snacks when I drive, dont need the liquids, but usually want something to munch on.....power bars are good, granola bars and such.....just not regular candy bars as the chocolate usually melts all over----

Well i'm just that kinda guy to women hehe.
Beers are great, but don't drink and drive ever, i did it once, luckily i did not get hurt or stopped, but has never done it since.... 1 mistake is ok, but not 2, atleast not drinking and driving, it's still stupid yes... but haven't we all been young and stupid.
i prefer silence or a woman with decent breast size next to me, then i can drive happily :P

I like to drive with music on...I can sing in the car and no one is there to tell me I am a bit flat or sharp---I dont sing when I am with others in the car --usually when I am driving with my husband we dont listen to anything, or if we do its usually classical or an anime soundtrack (which I have yet to master all the words to--)....
though sometimes I find that I want to turn the radio on and its already on...guess my brain just wants even more input! (and yes I can actually listen to 2 or 3 different songs at the same time)

nope, just female and very capable of multi-tasking ( needed it when I was in HR and had to talk on the phone, answer emails and talk to people at my desk all at the same time...comes in handy at times).
hey rocky, been a while---did my elves wash out your home???? (seeing as its now rain instead of snow---...dang elves)

yeah all the snow is gone---and even had some thunder with the rain (very strange on new years eve to have a thunderstorm)......but the rain is easier to deal with than the equivalent snow accumulation.....so rain is just fine right now

I learned long ago not to tell that to my mother. You probably couldn't find me anything I could ACTUALLY do.

ah, a challenge!!!
well my mom is now 83 and lives in a different state in a retirement community so I have no worries about that any longer.
as for stuff to do, there is ALWAYS cleaning, not to mention organizing stuff (closets, drawers etc)....onto NON cleaning stuff, plenty of books to read, movies to watch, friends to hang out with (though that might be just as boring).....take up a new hobby--heck my hubby just last week said he wanted to start building underwater submarine type radio controled thingys (wasnt listening too closely), look back into an old one.....
and that's just the top of my sleep deprived brains stuff (you could come over to my house and do lots of cleaning---my list of stuff to do would take me well past next new years)......

Here I come back xD.
Didn't actually go too far, but I had to study since my finals are next week.
Before having my own apartment I could wander around my house for hours without doing anything except walking and looking around. Now that I have it, when I'm bored I clean it.
Perhaps a little too much...but hey how can having a kitchen sink that shines be a bad thing ? .
I'm a little maniac when it comes to cleaning. I don't like things that are half done. You either do it or not, but don't give up halfway and unless it's really spotless, I consider it to be done halfway.
My new year went well .
And now school is starting again.

Well cosy, I think you sent a cold virus over the internet as i now have the sore throat and congestion, time to take some more honey for the throat.
EDIT: Just saw that Gerry Rafferty has passed, he had one of the greatest songs and albums of the 70's. Rest in peace, Gerry.

My place is never a mess, but it is dusty. However I need to do some cleaning on my desk, I have another 24" monitor on the way (dual screen FTW ).
